About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Collection Executive to join our dynamic team at a leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC). As a Collection Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely recovery of outstanding payments and maintaining a healthy portfolio for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively reach out to customers with overdue payments and negotiate repayment terms to achieve collection targets.

• Maintain detailed records of all customer interactions, payment histories, and collection activities.

• Identify and escalate high-risk accounts to the appropriate team for further action.

• Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to understand customer profiles and develop effective collection strategies.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies related to debt collection.

• Provide regular reports and updates on collection performance and portfolio health.

• Assist in the implementation of new collection processes and tools to improve efficiency.

• Participate in training and development programs to enhance your collection skills and knowledge.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in debt collection or customer service in the NBFC/financial services industry.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively with customers.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address collection challenges.

• Proficient in using CRM tools and other relevant software for data management and reporting.

• Good understanding of legal and regulatory requirements related to debt collection.

• Ability to work in a target-driven environment and deliver results consistently.

• Adaptability to changing work priorities and the ability to multitask effectively.

• Proficiency in English and the local language(s) of the region.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in the NBFC or financial services industry.

• Knowledge of credit and risk management principles.

• Familiarity with debt collection software or tools.

• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
